These are the terms and conditions for use of this site and access to the information contained on this site.

    (c) make no representation in relation to, and are not responsible in any way, for the content of any other site you access via this site; and
    (d) own the copyright in the information on this site.
  2. Any trade marks appearing on this site are the trade marks of a member of the National New Zealand group of companies or a third party. Users must not use or reproduce any of the trademarks that appear on this site.

Give Back Policy

  1. This is a gift from Give Back Home Loans to you the client in the form of a Cheque from Give Back Home Loans to you the client. It is not a rebate, refund or payback. It is a gift for loyalty to the Give Back Home Loans brand and company. The client will receive an annual cheque in a Christmas card every year they have their loan with us and refer a new client that settles prior to the 1st of December in the relevant year or the client settles new business with GBHL prior to the 1st of December in the relevant year.
  2. The gift will be sent to you the client between December 1st and December 14th each year that you have the loan in question and an ongoing relationship with the Give Back Home Loans between the dates December 1st to December 14th, this is the ‘holding period’.
  3. If you the client refinance your loan, completely discharge your loan or cease your relationship with Give Back Home Loans prior to the ‘holding period’ or during the ‘holding period’ you will not be eligible to receive the Give Back Policy. It is essential that your loan remains with Give Back Home Loans throughout the entirety of the ‘holding period’ December 1st to December 14th.
  4. Give Back Home Loans is able to still pay the Give Back Policy should you the client cease your relationship prior or during the ‘holding period’, but Give Back Home Loans is not obligated to do so.
  5. The gift is 0.10% of the ‘running balance’ period of the loan that has been held by you the client with Give Back Home Loans during the Financial year to June 30 prior to the 1st of December of the relevant year and commencing from the most recent of either of these two dates:
    (a) when you commenced this loan with Give Back Home Loans;
    (b) or the beginning of the Financial Year July 1st.
  6. The ‘running balance’ period calculation of 0.10% is taken from NZFSG Commissions statement each month and totaled for the relevant ‘running balance’ period above for each loan that is still eligible during the holding period.
  7. The client is considered to be the owner of the loan and only the client’s details will be on the Cheque when the Give Back Policy is given during the ‘holding period’. Give Back Home Loans cannot arrange for the details on the Cheque to be altered not assigned to another entity.
  8. It is the client’s responsibility to seek legal and tax advice in regards to the Give Back Policy Cheque being received and treated in the correct manner for legal and taxation purposes.
  9. The Cheque is a gift from Give Back Home Loans to you the client in relation to your loyalty to Give Back Home Loans Brand and Company as a direct result of the ongoing relationship that you the client have with Give Back Home Loans as the Mortgage Broker of the loan in question.
  10. It is the responsibility of you the client to keep Give Back Home Loans informed with your up to date contact details to ensure your Give Back Policy can be delivered to you. Give Back Home Loans will not be responsible in the instance your Give Back Policy could not be delivered to you as a result of you contact details not being up to date.
  11. You the client have 3 months to present your Give Back Policy to your financial institution, if you do not present your Give Back Policy within 3 months of the Cheque being signed by Give Back Home Loans the Cheque will be cancelled and your Give Back Policy will have expired for the relevant period. Give Back Home Loans will not be obligated to pay the Give Back Policy for any period where you the client have not presented the Cheque for processing at your financial institution within the 3 month period commencing when Give Back Home Loans signed the Give Back Policy Cheque with your correct details.
  12. Any fraudulent or inappropriate actions by you’re the client will instantly cease your relationship with Give Back Home Loans and your eligibility to receive a Give Back Policy will cease at the same time.
  13. The 0.10% is a gift as reward for loyalty and the referral, and not a rebate, refund or payback.
  14. It is the responsibility of you the client to ensure you follow the Terms and Conditions as stated here and above.

*The running balance is calculated by taking your balance at the end of each month and then taking the average of those balances over the period the loan is with GBHL in the relevant year.
